Khet Khet Tin
Khet Khet Tin is an independent peacebuilder and human rights protection specialist from Myanmar with more than 20 years of experience working with conflict-affected communities, human rights defenders, civil society organisations, and international humanitarian organisations.
She worked with UNHCR in Rakhine State from 2009 to 2015, and since the 2021 military coup in Myanmar, has supported female human rights defenders, peacebuilders and community-based protection initiatives in Myanmar and Thailand.
Khet Khet is committed to helping grassroots leaders and human rights defenders working in conflict-affected and increasingly restricted environments.
The fellowship will support Khet Khet’s work in strengthening the capacity of grassroots peacebuilders, human rights defenders and local civil society organisations from Myanmar to counter hate speech, authoritarian narratives and social fragmentation.
