SCI Response to Consultation on Programme for Government Draft Outcomes Framework for Northern Ireland

As part of our work on ‘Making Change with Government' SCI responded to the Draft Programme for Government (PfG) Outcomes Framework for Northern Ireland.

Our response is informed by cross-sectoral engagement and research on public service transformation in NI and interaction with our international network of activists and donors.

In our submission we encourage

• A stronger focus on reducing inequalities across all areas of the PfG and wider adoption of prevention and early intervention to prevent and minimise disadvantage.
• Placing public values and a commitment to reducing inequality on a statutory footing.
• Embedding new ways of working that centre collaboration, improving accountability and supporting a whole system approach.
