Seán Oliver

Seán has been a community activist in North Belfast since the early 1990's. For the last four years he has been a Good Relations/Peace Advocacy worker with the North Belfast Interface Network (NBIN). Sean’s work with NBIN principally involves being a member of the cross-community staff team on the TASCIT project (Twaddell Ardoyne Shankill Communities in Transition), funded by the International Fund for Ireland.

TASCIT organises courses, events, visits, and training sessions which are intended to increase inter-community contact in upper North Belfast, to build relationships and to increase trust locally which will hopefully allow for continued progress in the reduction, removal, or re-imaging of the interface barriers ("peacewalls") found across the TASCIT catchment area.
