Susan McCrory

Susan works at the Falls Women’s Centre in Belfast and has more than 30 years of experience in supporting communities affected by conflict and economic disadvantage. She enjoys working with women and creating opportunities for women to develop their own skills and talents through training and education. Susan is a mother of five and a returner to adult education, she completed an advanced Diploma in Community Development, progressing to Jordanstown University to gain a BA Hons Degree in Community Development.

Over the years Susan has played an instrumental part in designing, delivering, and creating opportunities for women from both sides of Northern Ireland's divided community to come together to discuss dealing with the past, creating a shared future and women’s role in politics. Susan completed a Fellowship that involved bringing together a diverse range of female leaders from grassroots communities to discuss social issues and challenges on the island of Ireland.
